 There is just one AD on the Model 10 airframe , the landing gear fairings might chafe on the struts. That is it for the model 10. The 10A has just one AD also, but a little more important. A one time inspection on a wing spar fitting fitting for cracks at a weld There are no AD's for the 105 model.

Does anyone have the AD number for the 10A wing spar? I did an AD search and didn't see any 10A ADs. ~T~

Try AD 46-06-05. I found it under Stinson Model A. It might be the one you are looking for.

@tim

 That is the one. These days you can get info on a problem that causes them issue an AD. On my plane I didn't see why that area would develop a crack.

 As flimsy as these wings are, I don't see them putting much load on anything. These are the most flexible wings I have flown under. Maybe that is why the plane flys so smoothly.

Thank you, Tim. I will go check this AD out. I am an A&P performing a Special Flight Permit safety inspection on a famous 10A, once owned by the Commemorative Air Force. It was used in WWII as a coastal surveillance plane that carried a single 100# bomb. It sunk a submarine off the coast of the US. Trying to get this little gal back in the air.
