Quite some time ago, I found a number of Stinson 108s in Michigan. I had an email list and I would regularly contact people if some sort of event was going on. This was mostly a lunch flyout kind of thing. Over time I got very few responses. I even asked if people wanted to remain on the list and many said yes. However that still didn't change the participation nor would I usually get a response at all. While I still have the email list, I haven't used it much the last couple of years. So I am wondering if anyone who has a Stinson in Michigan would be interested in having me restart that sort of information sharing? If so, can you please contact me to let me know and I will try to re-establish this type of thing. If nothing else, it would be good to have contact with a bunch of like minded people while away from Oshkosh.

Although I am not in MI, I think your idea of communicating with area Stinson owners for the purpose of "meeting up" is a grand idea. It could be as simple as letting other Stinson owners know when, where and who will be attending area fly-in's and breakfasts. Thank you for your efforts to build the Stinson community.

We are a corporate jet flight crew staying in Manistee and Pellston MI from 6-13 September. I have a ‘47 Dash 2 with the O435. Other pilot has a older Bo with a 225. Obviously two vintage fans. Would like to see any vintage aircraft you might have. Both of us eyeing upgrades and mods. Dave Schlener 903-316-0295 cell
@daveschlener3gmail-com I apologize Dave, I haven’t been on here much lately so I am now about a month late to when you were going to be in Pelston, MI. I hope you and the other pilot enjoyed your time in Northern Michigan. I will try to come on here more frequently so I don’t miss a comment again.
