Metallized Stinson 108-3
❓ Does anyone out there have a copy of the stc for metalizing a Stinson 108-3?
I have mechanic aquaintance who has a customers a/c with no paperwork and needs a copy. He also needs to find out what the washout on the wings is. He says that with the metal on it it is impossible to rig the wing neutral then turn the rear strut fork out 5 turns as the book says for a fabric a/c. It has 1.9 degrees of washout now, but could be raised or lowered slightly.
I certainly do not agree with metallizing a good fabric covered aircraft, but apparently this one had already been metallized.

BTW, I found this article about Skycraft Designs. Interesting read, https://books.google.co.jp/books?id=W4wWtLnMtKoC&pg=PA56&lpg=PA56&dq=Skycraft+Design,+Stinson&source=bl&ots=7JeQYyk9bF&sig=ACfU3U2yFiHUw5Dsp2qjCUXRngiwTkc_Kg&hl=en&sa=X&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Skycraft%20Design%2C%20Stinson&f=false
