We recently installed a “plugin” to the forum software that makes it much easier to interact with the forum on a mobile device using an free app called TapaTalk.

Watch the YouTube video below for an overview, or just follow these simple steps!

Download the free TapaTalk app
Create a no-cost account at TapaTalk
Search for “International Stinson Club”
Subscribe and login to the ISC site!
Enjoy using the mobile app!

Here is a video overview

Will,
I will preface this with: I despise smart phones! Yes, I have an Android but since I cannot hear on any phone, I only use it for text messages. I prefer a real computer to access the Stinson sites.
But, thought this might come in handy when away or something.
I downloaded the Tapatalk app, but cannot register because it requires that one pick a topic and non are applicable to aircraft sites. I tried several but the next step is never applicable and you cannot avoid a step. Dumb stuff.
I watched the video you included several times, but it does not seem to apply to the Android app.

I have been using Tapatalk for other forums for a while. Linked up to ISC, subscribed to all the forums and am now getting new thread notifications pushed to my phone and iPad plus email notifications. Links take you directly to forum thread. This is better than yahoo site in my opinion. Keeps me engaged in topics without having to visit forum directly. Hopefully this will help folks get expert opinions in short order and consolidate our knowledge base to a more appropriate place. Thank you Will (and Brian), hopefully this was a simple solution we can get most folks on board with.

Humm, if you go to YouTube the video sound works, but it seems to not be working here?

Anyone else able to hear this video?

I have just downloaded TapaTalk program to my Nook Tablet. It appears very easy to use and I think it is almost as good as the website. Thanks for the the effort Will!

Awesome, I didn’t even know that it was NOOK compatible. Glad it makes it easier!

The Nook tablets are basically an Android tablet. I wish it would work on the normal Nooks as that would be even better but I am happy with this option for now.

Seems like the Tap a talk app is working well on the site. I’m seeing a slight pickup in the activity!

Everyone feel free to use the app, its free!
