I'm hoping someone can help me with a prebuy inspection at Compton Airport in LA. I contacted the one mechanic that was close in the list on this site but he is too busy and can't help. I believe that was Jerry Beal. Does anyone have a suggestion for a Stinson mechanic nearby that could help or know of a good mechanic nearby even if they don't have Stinson specific experience? I know the prebuy document on this site is designed for any mechanic to check out a Stinson. Thanks.

Welcome to airplane buying in 2021. I would suggest looking into Facebook - Franklin Engines or Taildraggers groups. The ideal mechanic may not be available but finding one with Franklin experience (if that is your engine) is in my opinion more important.
Good luck, you must be looking at the airplane with O-540. Looks fun!
