Brian, not sure if this is appropriate or not, but to help maintain my IA status, I need to perform annual inspections on Stinsons at my airport (XS56) in deep south Texas. FAA requires that an IA do 4 annuals per year and or attend FAA approved seminars which I have been doing even if I have enough annuals.
Over the past, I have performed annuals and maintenance on Stinsons at my airport, but it seems my regulars have mostly moved on and sold their planes and no longer need my services.
I encourage owner participation. I encourage owners to be involved in their own aircraft maintenance as long as they learn to do it correctly.

I think one reason folks shy away from me is that I am too inexpensive, but I enjoy providing services to these old airplanes and do feel that I can keep them flying safely without unnecessary expense or billing time spent for learning which often happens when people take their Stinsons to big shops that have little or no Franklin/Stinson experience.

You cannot call me because I can't hear on a phone, but you can text me and if you email me or send a p;rivate message, I will give you my cell phone number for texting.
I am available to do annuals at my airport from mid November until mid May, usually. Other times, I can journey to your airport for inspections and or pre-buys, but I would need expenses in doing so helped with.

I can also do major mods like STC engine conversions, having done the 180 Lyc conversion on my own Stinson that I have had for almost 51 years now.
