Very helpful info here and on the 2004 Technical Corner disc. My question relates to the 337. The 337 on file here for N8547K has an FAA approval signature. I will assume the split is a major alteration (whether it should be or not) but does it need FAA field approval?

Yes it is a major alteration and you will need a field approval.  You can use the previously signed off 337 for your approved data and AC43-13.1B for acceptable data.

Do you have a copy of an approved 337 for splitting the nosebowl? I need to get a field approval for the mod that was done on my Stinson.
