I have 12 PE 30 sparkplugs, I have not found any info about them on the internet.  They are 14mm plug and look like they would work in a 150 or 165 hp Franklin.  Anyone know the answer,

Thanks for any help

Hi Gary, yeah there are a number of these available on ebay and other sites. Not sure of the exact specs but installing spark plugs not approved for use in your engine gives your insurance company a good reason to deny any claim regardless of the cause. I've found industrial plugs made by champion and available through Napa that would work but I don't consider the cost saving worth having a claim denied. Is your ship in the experimental category? If only the new UK plug manufacturer Tempest would make certified plugs for our engines we'd at least have a competitor. I started buying REJ38s in '84 for $33.59 from Wag-Aero and now they cost $72.97.
