Hi Everyone,

I bought a 108-3 a few months ago and the front engine baffle is a mess.  It has been cut and repaired numerous times to fit the Sensenich "governor" (more like controller) and associated mechanism.  The gov is still installed but the prop was removed a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.  I would like to remove the gov and install a cover plate......so that I can put a new, proper front baffle on the aircraft.  Does anyone have the 18474 cover plate (good luck....LOL)?  Has anyone fabricated one successfully?  If someone has a plate......want to trade for the governor?  Thanks so much!!!

What is the hole spacing? I have a cover plate with 4, 5/16" holes on 2" centers and a  gasket. I don't want your old  governer!🙃

@ecos36gmail-com 🤣 I would love to buy your cover plate then.  Let me take some measurements and get back with you.  Thank You!

So, two of the holes seem to be at 2" but the other two holes are not.  Like the fastener pattern is not square but rectangular.  I will try to post some photos.  Does your cover plate have a rectangular pattern or square?

Ah!  That looks like it is probably an accessory drive cover for the gearbox.  No problem.  Thanks for the effort Michael!!!  I think I will fabricate a cover to fit at annual in August when it is all apart.
