STC's

Al,
This is the product of a simple, quick Google search:

Gerald Cooper has spent time at the Stinson ISC table for several years at Oshkosh.
I know a lot of folks think the big tires are just the Berries...I personally have no desire for them. The Stock 7:00 X 6 have served me well for nearly 49 years on grass, mud, gravel, and pavement.

Thanks Larry... I had uncovered that information by several other routes, but all the dates were pretty old. I guess my question should have been "Does Gerald Cooper still hold the STC for 8.50 tires..." I have a pair of 8.50x6 for the Zenith I'm building, and put them up against the Stinson - I'd probably need a mounting block to get in the aeroplane and a periscope to see where I'm going....

I have the STC for the 8.5 tires, I'll take a look this evening. I think Cooper sold them recently.
No I don't currently run 8.5 tires, but since there was a group buy some time ago, I decided to add it in case it might be useful.
