looking for help or ideas on how to remove hinge bolts, are there special wrenches required to get the bolts out?

thanks

Probably will need some context to help out with your problem.

Rich, can you post a couple of pictures of what you are seeing and what the problem is?

Last set I took off (a month ago) I used a 1/4 drive set up. No wrenches. Breaker bar on one side ratchet on the other. Hard to be sure but it looks like your access holes are located a bit aft and the structure a bit mangled. A universal socket with an extension helps here as well. I usually put a rag in the hole to prevent dropping hardware into the aileron. The hard part can be actually getting the bolts to come out. I like anti seize with bolts and screws on assembly.

was able to remove my first one by the offset and a socket that I ground the wall to thin it and a breaker bar, thanks for your help. should work fine for the second aileron when I get the other wing on the work table.

regards
