If you ever need to remove the small screws that hold the covering on the wings, you will find that they are very small (like size 1 Phillips) and they are glued in as part of the covering process. This makes these little buggers thought to remove. Another Stinson expert steered me to the “Vampliers”. You can find them on Amazon for about $25 and they are amazing for any stuck fastener.

They made quick work to remove the fresh air vent screws in my 1966 Spridget.
