If you ever need to remove the small screws that hold the covering on the wings, you will find that they are very small (like size 1 Phillips) and they are glued in as part of the covering process. This makes these little buggers thought to remove. Another Stinson expert steered me to the β€œVampliers”. You can find them on Amazon for about $25 and they are amazing for any stuck fastener.

They made quick work to remove the fresh air vent screws in my 1966 Spridget.
