If you are having problems with the original style "cork" lined fuel selector, consider replacing it with the UK based Andair valve. Very well made and an easy conversion. I just installed one on my V-77 after finding 3 out of 4 "NOS" vintage fuel selectors were bad.

Randy, does the V77 share the same selector as the 108?

No, the 108's are a lot more "modern". The original selector had
a cork lined insert.
