Before I dive into the Cleveland brake STC: My V-77 has the Hayes expanding tube brakes. I have the left brake apart because it would not collapse enough for me to get the wheel back on comfortably. I found three of the springs that fit between the individual brake pads had broken.
Can anyone help me either: obtain some springs, preferably a set of 9; find a source to produce new springs?
