I am currently restoring this airplane. Been in process for 13 years, but since retirement 1 year ago the pace has really picked up.
Many interesting upgrades to this aircraft here are a few of them: Lycoming IO-390 (215 hp), MT 80″ constant speed prop, electronic ignition, Y yoke, Aug fuel tanks (13 gallons), extended baggage, left & right taxied and landing LED lights, Trio autopilot, all LED running & strobe lights, Earth X battery (5 lbs.), B&C 60 amp alternator + 22 amp standby alternator, center stack with Aspen, JPI 930 engine monitor, 5 point restraints in front & 3 point in rear seats, 1/4″ seatbelt hardware upgraded to 5/16″ NAS hardware, front seats redesigned with taller backs and increased travel, many airframe tubes replaced and upgraded……… plus many more these being the most notable.
